Jem's in trainer pants today. I'm finding the need to repeat this to myself, to not get frustrated and put a diaper back on her. She's in her third outfit of the day, the third a result of getting chocolate chip cookie on her pants.
So far, she's peed in the potty once. This was after quite a bit of time hanging out in the bathroom reading books. Bug insisted on hanging out with us, which is wonderful for the support of Jem's efforts, but not so great when she's super windy. I sent her to the other room to get a particular book. She came back saying she couldn't find it. When I went to get it, the playroom was engulfed in the stench.
I'm hoping that, if anything, Jem will learn better awareness from wearing panties this weekend. It may take several accident episodes to get to that point, but that would make the effort worthwhile. She definitely took aggravated issue with having pee and poop in her pants. Yay! Much better than the complacency she's had with wearing a diaper.

Potty training sucks. Yay for you for pushing through! Seriously though, what is up with Bug?

Oooh! Love the new blog look.
I think your approach is a good one. I've seen something like it called 5 Days and $75 (or something like that) which refers to the time frame a kid will stop with accidents when you just keep them in regular undies and the $75 is for a carpet cleaning. However, if you do that yourself you could spend that cash on booze.
