It Was a Three-Peckered Billy Goat

I thought I learned the lesson to not drink coffee after 3pm. It was much later than that, specially brewed for me by my awesomest friend and personal barista (hee). The coffee had to be tried to justify owning a cup with the design. Hopefully I'll get some rest tonight.

It's a fun coincidence that we are spending our last night in this area at the same hotel where we spent our first. (Remember this and this?)

OMG I look so much better with bangs. WTH was I thinking with this hair?

No one's singing tonight, and I traded the Godiva for some Alaska Wildberry caramels. Yes, coffee and caramels. I also had Thai for dinner. My tummy's not very happy.

Tomorrow we will be leaving Alaska, driving to the lower 48. I plan to spend time on this road trip reconnecting with my blog, knitting silly things, and not eating shit. (I've eaten a lot of shit lately and am convinced that I've gained at least 10 pounds in the last two weeks.) I'm sad to leave behind the great friendships I have made here, but am grateful for the sadness; it means I've made connections. I hope to do the same in our new home.

See you later, Alaska. You will be sorely missed.

OK now i have a sad little lump in my throat. You made a great addition to the 49th state MRTL. When next I'm in town I'll have some Village Inn pie in your honor. Three-Peckered coffee...i'm not so sure about that one.

Crap, you really did post! It's kind of sad because I remember when you moved to Alaska. I hope that everything works out on your new journey.

Are you driving through... SEATTLE? Please say yes, and also say it's not next weekend that you'll get here, and say you'll stop for long enough for me to come give you a big hug.

Safe travels.

Of course you have to go and make me cry again. GAH! I really really really don't know what I'm going to do without you. I had this whole speech planned that was super mushy gushy but my upset tummy and looming sadness kept me mute. So sorry...guess I'll just have to blog about ya.

MWAH! and one last SMOOCHIES!

Driving through St. Louis and I will make sure to take you to the Pie Pantry nearby.

Be safe, and will be happy to hear you blogging again, and since I've obviously missed it, where are you headed??

MRTL!

Yes, please tell me that you're driving through Seattle on Tuesday! I'm flying there tomorrow, then renting a car and driving to Vancouver, BC for the half marathon on Sunday.

I'll be back in Seattle on Tuesday. I'd love to see you again! Can you believe it's been TWO YEARS since that trip?

Do you still have my cell?

Safe travels, girl. I'll be sure to keep up with your blog for your accounts of your adventures in my home state of South Cakalacky. :)

Today was too long for a post, and looks like the next couple days will be, too.

We're not going through Seattle. :( There's a bit of skippity-doo-dahing through Canada, and we'll be visiting the in-laws in Wisconsin before heading to Maryland to see our Bugs.

'Night all!

Great to see you blogging again. Have a safe trip!

Have a safe trip!

I can't believe I missed you leaving!
