...Bug, "pretending to be someone who is mean," singing her own version of Laurie Berkner's " I'm Gonna Get You" with the lyrics, "I'm gonna cut you, you better run." Her Little People Farmer was singing this to her Little People horse.
...Mister mrtl, upon realizing that I would not be here for Mother's Day, "But I bought you flowers!" Mister mrtl has only bought me flowers once before ever. It was for Valentine's Day, 2003, which fell three days after learning I was pregnant with Bug. They weren't cut, but miniature potted ones in a cute, heart-decorated basket. About a week later I flew home on my last business trip, leaving him to kill them by forgetting to water them.
Knowing the roses probably won't live till my return, mister mrtl has decided to give them to Bug. Hopefully she doesn't use them to cut anyone.
