The first I read of Donny Johnson was a small excerpt in the paper. I was intrigued at the thought of artwork created using a paintbrush made from hair and paint from M&Ms. I bought some M&Ms today with a plan. Searching tonight, I found this, which provides the instructions I need:
He puts from one to five of the candies in each of the jelly containers, drizzles a little water in and later fishes out the chocolate cores, leaving liquid of various colors, which get stronger if they sit for a couple of days.
A picture accompanies a description of the brush -- "Mr. Johnson's paintbrush is made of plastic wrap, foil and strands of his own hair," -- and if I feel so inclined I will make one to use. I wonder where I can get blank postcards.
I'll be posting my work of art next Monday, so I guess this could be considered a pseudo Motif. Anyone?

That's beyond creative! Um, I don't think I'll be joining you since any M&M that makes it into this house would never survive long enough to make a trip into the paint jar. Seriously, it's like there's a little alert somewhere in the car, because when I get home with M&Ms, the vultures are already circling. I'll look forward to your work, though!!

That sounds very interesting. I can't believe he sold postcards for $500. WOW.
I was catching up a bit; i'm glad you're feeling more like yourself.
Hugs to you.

I wonder what Skittles would look like.

When i was a kid we used to take skittle like candies (cheap 1970's version) and lick them and then use them like makeup on our eyes, lips and cheeks.

Cool idea. I'd end up eating my palette though.

I AM SO SORRY! I never got back to you! I'm the one that goes to school with Zachary Soza! Do you remember me? I'm sure you have disregarded me as just a liar, but I will deliver the goods! Tomorrow, I hope.
EDIT: Tonight! Here are pictures from the play I did with Zach during the school year (Into the Woods, if you want to know. If you have seen it, then it might interest you somewhat to know that Zach played Rapunzel's Prince and I played Cinderella's Prince.) Now, it's up to you to decide whether or not that's actually a picture of me, but to help you a little bit, I'll give you the link to my MySpace, which I hope will prove to you that that is me in these pictures.

Just so you know, I cut my hair a few months ago (after the play,) so if you think that I look a bit different, that would probably be why.
There is also a video of the duet Zach and I had during the play, but I haven't got the patience to upload it tonight. Sometime soon, maybe.
Your "connection,"
Dan
P.S. My e-mail address has changed, sorry if you have tried to e-mail me since our last correspondence.

Another edit: I'm really sorry. For some reason, upon re-reading what I wrote before, I feel like I came off as quite conceited. I am in no way full of myself, so please don't think anything bad of me if you feel like I sounded a bit stuck up.

What's with this "dan" trying to prove an association with the boy from Barney? Bizarre!

I corresponded with her before about Zachary Soza a while ago about Zachary Soza. See, he's one of my best friends, and we were at school on a computer, and I decided to Google "Zachary Soza," and, as it turned out, he had a fan site (here!) It made us both curious, so I took it upon myself to show her pictures of how he looks now and things like that.
Yeah.
