Like putting MY name on the bag made any difference in ownership of the cuddliest of mooses. We'll see if she gives Boobah a run for his money. The first sign of trouble is if she takes Susie Moose to the tent tonight.
Thanks, Susie! (Loved the others, too. I kept them from Bug so they wouldn't get confiscated as well.)

This is what I got when I requested a "Say Cheese!" Note the legs are protracted in her show of glee.

You'd think she was saying, "Please, no more pictures!" here, but Dora was on, and she was actually saying "Swiper, no swiping!"
----
Update: Susie Moose is in the tent, tucked under the blanket, with Bug.

Darling pictures -- but was caught off guard by the "Get off your ass. No more excuses" headline.
I need a drill sergeant who will call me every morning at 0530 and get me to the gym.
Starting Monday.

aaaaw how cute!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR MRTL!
Posted by: Danielle | 2005.12.30 at 08:08 AM
Geez, she is so cute.
I had one toy I tried to keep from Elli, a teddy bear Andy gave me on our first Christmas. She's got it now despite all my efforts and he sleeps with her too.

Hee! Terrific pictures, Mrtl! I love the "glee" picture!
Ooo... and I love that couch... it looks like my poofy chair.
Happy New Year to all those in mrtland! :)

What cute pictures! The Swiper one is my favorite. Darn that Swiper and his swiping.
Every time I saw a moose I'd think, "ooh, I could send that to mrtl" but then I'd realize it was a reindeer.

Sorry you lost out on the cuddly moose, but it was worth it to see Bug so happy and beautiful in those pics.
Happy New Year!

Awww! Susie Moose looks so soft and cuddly! So does Bug, for that matter. :)
Posted by: LadyBug | 2005.12.30 at 09:35 AM
Awww. Bug is beautiful! And in that 2nd photo, she looks just like you.
Posted by: kalki | 2005.12.30 at 10:10 AM
Well wasn't this like a lil after Christmas prezzie itself! Bug looks so delightful with her snuggly jamas and her combed hair. And the legs sticking out are killin' me.
Posted by: Amy | 2005.12.30 at 10:19 AM
Oh my god, she is too cute. How do you handle all this cuteness? She is going to be a total celebrity with her perfect "no more pictures" gesture. Just go with that! ADORABLE!
Posted by: Dima | 2005.12.30 at 10:54 AM
Bug is such a beautiful li'l... bugger. Um, but not in the bad, Brit sense, of course. Anyway, CUTE! She looks so much like you!
Posted by: cat | 2005.12.30 at 11:23 AM
Oh my god, Oh my god, OH. MY. GOD. Could your daughter BE any fucking cuter?!?! Please tell me she can't, because I don't think my ovaries can handle anything cuter than THAT.
Total
Complete
Utter
Perfect
CUTENESS!!!!

What a baby beauty queen. Glad Bug is better and is enjoying Susie Moosie.

Spoonie was right. Total ovary overload. In fact, I think one of my just exploded. Absolute cuteness! Eat it up with a spoon.

"one of mine"...not "one of my". Fingers working faster than brain today. PMS surge is blowing out all of my frequencies.

Kabe - I'm in the same boat. The banner isn't helping me much.
Bente - It would appear they always go for the stuff you don't want them to have. Sorry for your loss!
Danielle - Happy New Year! Party for me!
Kelli - It's a dual reclining loveseat and it's awesome. It is awfully roomy; mister mrtl is sitting next to Bug.
jana - It took me a while to figure out the difference between a moose and reindeer (stuffed toys, that is).
Sharkey - I know. You can't force that kind of affection from a child. Right now she's cuddling Susie Moose while watching Tarzan II.
LadyBug - Don't get me started on her hugs. They're the BEST!
kalki - I need to hit my mom up for some old pictures of me. When her hair's a certain way, I see it, too. I don't see it in these; she's all mister mrtl to me.
Amy - A ham.
Dima - I'll try to capture her princess wave next.
cat - Roger that. (Not in the British sense, either.)
spoonleg - Alas, her complete cuteness can't be captured in a picture.
Hänni - Ain't that the truth! I have my sweet and fun little girl back. It's going to make our long weekend together a lot easier!
wordgirl - I have to agree with that. She's scrumptious.

Oh, you made my day. And believe me, honey, this one NEEDED makin'. I can't believe how much she looks like you. Gorgeous, the two o' yas.
Posted by: Susie | 2005.12.30 at 03:45 PM
Bug has the cutest eyes... I'm not even a big fan of blue eyes, except on my nieces and nephew... those downturned outer edges... the long lashes. Ouch.
Posted by: sheryl | 2005.12.30 at 05:20 PM
P.S.
After reading your response to kalki "She's all mister mrtl to me"...
That's IT. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO FUCKING HAVE A BABY.
Well, I am going to have to fuck and then have a baby.
Posted by: sheryl | 2005.12.30 at 05:23 PM
mrtl! How have I missed pics of Bug all this time - she is absolutely adorable.
Happy New Year!
Posted by: lori | 2005.12.30 at 05:31 PM
I am in pain from the cuteness.
Posted by: Martha Stewart | 2005.12.30 at 06:38 PM
Susie - Touche!
sheryl - Those are mister mrtl's lashes. I envy them. Get fucking! lol
lori - More at her site. ;)
Martha - Thank you, sweetie!
Posted by: mrtl | 2005.12.30 at 08:07 PM
I have kinda thought she looks like you too (but then, I've never seen a picture of mister mrtl, I don't think). In any case, I concur with cat and kalki. Which means BOTH of you are adorable :)
Posted by: Andrea | 2005.12.30 at 10:32 PM
How sweet are they! Very cute pictures of Bug and Susie Moose.
Poor Boobah, looks like he has met his match!
Posted by: Momo | 2005.12.30 at 10:51 PM
Andrea - It's rare that I see me in her. I'm more likely to see my brother.
Momo - Bug has not forsaken Boobah. Doctor Kit, however, has spent the day in the tent. (Bug burst forth from the tent this morning with Boobah under one arm and Susie Moose under the other.) She asked for Boobah at her nap (she had left him downstairs), but chose to let Susie Moose hang in the playroom that time.
I feel worse for Nene, who had a special place in her heart, and crib, for the longest time.
Posted by: mrtl | 2005.12.30 at 11:22 PM
Silly Susie to send YOU the moosey, when it clearly needs to be with Bug, in her tent, sleeping. GAWD, she is darling, Mrtl!!
Posted by: eclectic | 2005.12.31 at 12:04 AM
eclectic - I may get my chance to get Susie Moose back. (Bug grabbed Boobah and left her in the playroom when it was time to brush teeth and head to bed tonight. Mister mrtl brought her to the bathroom, asking Bug if she wanted her. Bug was adamant about Susie Moose staying in the playroom, enough to grab her from him and take her back to the playroom herself, even after mister mrtl said he'd put her back.) She can be fickle this way. Chances are if I show an interest in Susie Moose, Bug will fight for her.

The only thing cuter than Bug is Bug in footsie pyjamas.

Martha stole my line.
Posted by: Torrie | 2005.12.31 at 09:28 AM
Awww sweetness and light.
Posted by: Nina | 2005.12.31 at 01:42 PM
Kranki - :) thanks
Torrie - That bitch.
Nina - A girl and her "baby moose."
