I finally received my Christmas Jesus Dress Up Magnet Set in the mail yesterday (along with my monkey t-shirt). Woo hoo!
Thing is that I forgot I ordered TWO of the magnet sets. Maybe I had it in mind to give the extra set to someone special, but as I have a hard time remembering things from yesterday, and I ordered these months ago, that thought is LONG gone.
What to do? Why, I shall share the holiday joy with one of my blogger friends, of course!
Contest Time!
Part of me thinks that I should have a contest to determine the contest, but I think I have this. It shall be treated like Motif Monday, with as little direction as possible. That way, you can use your creativity to your advantage.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Show me why you should have the Christmas Jesus Dress Up Magnet Set.
Send all entries to mrtland at gmail dot com. Contact me if your entry is not something that can be emailed.
Deadline: Thursday, November 17, 2005. That's right, folks. Two whole weeks. Please use your time wisely!
Update: As promised, here's a picture of the sets in action.

I'm not entering, because that is sacrilege. There is no way in heaven or earth that my Lord and Savior wore tighty-whities. Or tidy-widies. Briefs.

Hey Gurl
Just wanted to stop in and say have a great weekend!

Scotty - You're going to have to battle me for Jesus. I really want this!
Posted by: Hänni | 2005.11.04 at 08:45 AM
PS It is on.

Excuse me, count me in. I already won the monkey contest with Scotty, so watch out kiddies. It's too funny, and would SO offend my family. I LOVE IT!
You just got the shirt? Geez! Where's the picture?

I will battle to the death for the magnet set, just because I LOVE that christmas tree poufy dress outfit!

Susie, you are right. He wore only a g-string... black, with a red lip print on the money spot.
I so want to win the contest, it's just that I'm creatively impaired, so I'm sure it will be an exercise in carnage... but, I really, really want the magnets.

You crack me up! Anyone who orders, not 1, but 2 Christmas Jesus Dress up Magnetic Sets is freakin awesome.

No way does such a thing exist. Really? I mean, really, really that's for real?
Posted by: Mama Duck | 2005.11.04 at 02:32 PM
Susie - How about the diaper?
Scotty - The shirt looks a little small; I haven't tried it on yet. Maybe today. Looks like I'm going to have to make believers out of those who doubt the Dress Up Jesus Magnet Set exists. (I have the regular version as well, and will play with both today.
danielle - You, too!
Hänni - Yeehaw! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Dima - It's a shame. Mister mrtl doesn't want them on the fridge downstairs.
Adrienne - I like the Grinch outfit in the online version. :(
eclectic - Part of me wants to say, "That's just wrong," but that would be hypocritical of me, wouldn't it?
Merry Widow - One to share and one to spare. (I think I learned that one from my mother.)
Mama Duck - Come back later. I have to find all the pieces of the regular set, then I'll break out the camera.
NOTE TO ALL: Be sure to check out the online version of Jesus Dress Up!

You GO, girl. mrtl, you are my peeps!

Hänni - I will naked pudding wrestle you for the magnets. I won't enjoy it at all. I promise. Well, I can't lie in front of the Lord. I'd love every second of it. HEhehee.
Posted by: ScottyGee | 2005.11.04 at 10:08 PM
lori - Found them while looking for a fridge magnet toy for Bug. Imagine my delight!
eclectic - I thought the fuzzy pink bunny slippers were much better than the ballet shoes. The coconut bikini top - yeah, I'm just a sick and blasphemous fuck.
Lou - Thanks for stopping by! I'm sure I'll be seeing you later.
Scotty - Don't be so convinced that one of you has this in the bag, although I am really looking forward to seeing your entries. I've already started considering consolation prizes.

Dude has girly legs.
Posted by: kalki | 2005.11.04 at 11:17 PM
ScottyGee, I will only wrestle in pudding if it is made from tofu and is chocolate flavored.
Posted by: Hänni | 2005.11.05 at 10:41 AM
OH MRTL...Please, whatever you do...show Shaun those magnets.
He will order like 5 of them and we will all go to hell.

Hey mrtl, check your e-mail. I wasn't quite sure if you still use that e-mail account, so I decided to tell you to check it.
Thanks,
Dan

kalki - Totally unexpected, considering all the walking he did.
Hänni - Tofu is yucky. That is all.
Kristine - But we'll have fun before we die, girlfriend!
Dan - Got it and wrote you back. Thanks!
