Big Wieners

Mister mrtl's parting words before heading out for another mids shift involved asking me if I knew to expect another 12 inches tonight. That is all.

I'm not going to say that I was bummed to get only three entries for the Christmas Jesus Dress Up Magnet Set contest. It made figuring out the Big Wiener easier.

Without further ado, the Big Wiener is...

Hänni

Hänni provided not one, but TEN reasons (in Letterman Top Ten List form at that) as to why she should have the magnet set. My personal favorite? This is hard, but I'm going to go with, "It seems unfair that I have Jesus in my heart, but not on my Kenmore." That one touched me. And yes, bribes were included involving peri-bottles and wrestling. She also made clear her intentions, which I really appreciated.

But... (No, we can't have a Big Wiener without a But, can we?), I am going to request that the other contestants forward me their mailing addresses as well. I will send all of you some incredible Bug Art for your fridges; no one's fridge will be bare!

I WANT BUG ART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty please?

Sometimes in order to get twelve inches in one night the snow needs to come twice...

sheryl - I'll have to keep an eye on interest. Maybe an auction is in order.
T A-S - Honey, I almost spit out my ice cream when I read that, but I was able to keep it down.

I wanted to enter the contest, but you had to make the deadline in the middle of the week. Something that is unrealistic for a full time student with a full time job. Not the life style to be entering contests on Thursdays! Bah!

Oh, and between TAS's continuing talk about inches, and your talk about almost spitting but keeping it down, dirty minds are doing magic with all those words.

Wow. They cancelled the 12 inches and now we're only looking for 1-2. That's gotta be a disappointment to mrtl.

Well, before I read T A-S's comment, I was mightily impressed. 6+6=12; while true, it's not all that exceptional. mrtl, I'm sure you won't even wake up for the now promised 1-2 inches.

YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pity the fool who has to deal with 12 inches on a daily basis. Of snow. It would be tiring. Snow.

Congratulations, Hanni!

I totally spaced the deadline...would have paid more attention if I'd had even the vaguest idea that merely entering would garner me some Bug art! dang...maybe if I blog about how attractive the Bug art would be next to the cigarette coupons...?

TAS is a riot!

Heathens. Okay, so Hanni's entry was really good.

Okay, I kind of played, mrtl! I did! Because the whole Blow Out the Hair thing is such a PAIN! And it causes PAIN when you don't know your way around a curly brush and blowdryer, I tell you what! So add me to your list! When you get it going! Um, if you wanna, that is...

Bring on the pain!

no, seriously, I WANT BUG ART TOO!!!!!!!!!

i just put something up on my fridge yesterday for the first time since moving, and i told myself how much more "homey" it made things. I WANT BUG ART BUG ART BUG ART!!!

Thanks for the congrats Little Sister, and yeah Yonzie, I probably spent more time on it than I should've... but I *really* like winning... and Jesus!

I am a bit sad though, nobody seems to be jealous of Jee... Maybe if I had dress up jesus customized by some Bug fingerpainting, then I would have the *ultimate* prize, I suppose.

ALL - I will be back to comment. I've been WORKING, and it's busy stuff, with lots of clicking and reading and clicking (no waiting, so no blogging).

Now? Now I get to go to do the house/guest/Thanksgiving shopping. I hope to return, but the commissary gets really crazy. Please send your best wishes for my personal safety. (I really should wake mister mrtl's ass up and make him go with me.)

dang! no postings since NOON! it must be snowing awfully, uhhh, hard up there in el-az-ca. hasn't snowed down here in, like, a year. sheeesh louise. "some guys have all the luck."

p.s. pregnancy must make it snow a lot more, since (once it starts snowing) a little more snow doesn't make all that much more difference, and then there's the hormones...in the snow. yea...whatev...

Raz, you been hittin' the eggnog a little early?

Dima - YOU HAD TWO WEEKS. (Not that I'm giving you that much of a hard time. I'm a procrastinator, too.)
T A-S - Total bummer. Nothin'.
Susie - Tighten Up, anyone? lol
Hänni - Congrats!
T A-S - I love it when you channel your inner Mr. T. Will you do the voice, too? Please??
little sister - Ya snooze, ya lose, girlfriend. :P
yonzie - I think I'll have to post the whole thing, especially since she went through the trouble of offering an DOC and PDF deliverable of it.
cat - I'll assume you're talking about the Motif Monday pain topic, not snow. ha! Thanks!
Susie - It's on, sistah!
Raz - Can't go diminishing the weiners here, can we?
Hänni - It's a different medium (not fingerpainting), but I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised by the Bug art I picked out for you and how well it goes with your fridge.
Raz - No snow today, but I did get out for groceries. (Had to go out for milk -- TWO gallons at that!)
Susie - Woman, don't go mentioning eggnog here! I can't drink that, and I love it. I think I'll cry now.

susie: i wish! it's more like major lack of sleep from 16-hour workdays. lookin' forward to the holidays though for some much-needed relaxation! :)

Ooh i get Bug art AND the magnets?! This deal keeps getting sweeter and sweeter.

Hänni - It wouldn't be fair to send it to others and not to you, too.

Tee hee, TA-S!
