Did you think I was kidding when I said I've eaten enough Reese's Cups to start crapping peanut butter bon bons? I'm totally not. I'm talking major buckeyes here.
Exhibit A: The cookie jar. This cookie jar, which incidentally I bought for my mother, sits right inside the kitchen door. It is the first place I visit when entering the house. The cookie jar is not used for cookies (in case you haven't noticed); Mom just dumps in candy as she gets it, so getting into the cookie jar is akin to going on an archeological dig. I have yet to do such exploration, as the entire top layer down to what you see here was Reese's Cups, and you haven't seen Exhibit B yet. You may notice in the picture there are a couple Cups still in there. There were actually three, and yeah, they're gone now, too.
Exhibit B: The alternate candy jar. This jar is kept with two others on the sideboard in the dining room. The other jars have lifesavers and Wrigley's stick gum in them, but they don't mean shit to me. This jar was full when I got here. My Mom has confessed to having a few, but otherwise I take full responsibility for the missing Cups.
I really need to just click on "Save" now and be done with this post. Sitting here staring at this picture while thinking about what else I can say is doing me absolutely no good. I'd rather not chance waking the Bug by sneaking out to go and grab some more.

Those candy pictures make me want to reach right through my computer screen and grab one...
(easy..sugar is evil. sugar is evil. sugar is evil...)

My oldest is that way with reeses, but doesnt really like other candy, or sugary type things. If theres reeses in the house, they are gone fast!

Mmmm, chocolate. Damn this diet from hell.
I've eaten enough PB cups to be able to detect differences in the recipe. I think they churn too many out at Halloween so that the quality goes to crap. Maybe I'm nuts. Okay, I am. Sue me.

If sugar is wrong, I don't wanna be right. Amen and pass the Reese's...

Oh, now see mrtl? You did NOT say they were the MINIATURE Reese's cups. I mean, I like Reese's cups just fine, but the miniature cups? Oh. My. Heavenly. Lord. Those things are divine. I am - seriously - salivating, just thinking about 'em. I may have to make a Wal-Mart run.

Didn't your mom wonder why you were taking pictures of the "cookie" dish and jar? She is probably VERY worried about you, telling your dad, "Not only does she eat them all, but she also TAKES PICTURES of the candy. I guess she goes back to her room and drools over them, I don't know."
I'm a sucker for any chocolate/PB combo...

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!

I MUCH prefer the minis to the regular sized ones. I don't even LIKE the regular sized ones.
Sugar is good, and resistance IS futile!
