A Very Good Thing
I must apologize for two things. One, I have thus far given a less than stellar review of Alaska. It's hard to be impressed with this place when I'm so dour about the unsuccessful house hunting we've done. Today should be better. Today better be better. Tonight I will be in better spirits and shall tell you about this incredibly beautiful place. I'll even try to take some pictures to show you how purty it is.
My second apology is for my singing and complete bastardization of what is a wonderful song...
Heaven. I'm in Heaven,
And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak,
'Cause the BX has the chocolate that I seek!
It's so good to suck on while it's in my cheek!

That last line of the song? You WERE still talking about the chocolate, right?
Hm. Seems I'm feeling a little naughty today.
Teehee.
Oh yes, and lovely self-portrait. Very Vogue-ish, with the sucking in of the cheeks.
Strike a pose, there's nothin' to it.

Just keep eating chocolate, and Alaska will start looking better and better.
Can't wait for the house pics! Fingers crossed that you'll find the best MRTL homestead ever!

Perhaps, mrtl, some new kick-ass sunglasses will make Alaska and all those potential houses look better. :)
Just a thought.
And, I'm glad you photographed yourself eating the chocolate. Makes me feel a little less guilty about eating the Toblerone bits earlier...just a little.

Yum! Better luck with the house hunting, I know you'll find something soon enough.

Singing about chocolate. It's a good thing.

LadyBug - When are you not feeling naughty?
Spurious - That plan seems to have worked. Today we found Plan A and Plan B. Hopefully Plan A will be finalized (for the most part) tomorrow. Thanks for the crossed fingers!
Summer - Like I said, you may be able to work the big-ass sunglasses, but I can't. But I'm glad the picture made you feel better. I love Toblerone, too. Hell, I'm not too discriminating when it comes to chocolate.
Bente - Thank you also for the good mojo. I'm very optimistic at this point. We're just not going out for a celebratory drink just yet.
Susie - Always a good thing!
